Is the Republican Party: (a) a clown car, (b) a clown car driving off a cliff, or (c) a clown car driving off a cliff while on fire?
Many may be retirees. NY has cold winters.

The best people too probably. OH, they will be replaced by illegal aliens. We are saved after all.

For the first time in 40 yrs. Portland has less people coming in than going out. Reasons for this are unclear though covid, homelessness, endless protests, rising home/rent/living prices are all being blamed. Those new arrivals in the past seem to lean toward young woke types so maybe we won't be getting so many of them anymore. Hopefully.
That's probably THE telltale sign that people have had enough of a city or state.

BEWARE remote workers who left NY but working from home in Tennessee, Florida, wherever for the same employer: If they're still deducting NY State Income Tax, GET THAT FIXED NOW. You'll still have a headache with filing for NY in 2023 as a part-year resident. You want to make that stop before your first 2024 payroll period. Also keep good records of your travel. Recall that Rush Limbaugh said he still got audited every year by NY, long after he moved out. He had to keep records proving that any visits to New York were purely social and had zero income-generating aspects.
