Hanson: “They don’t have any popular support.”
N.S.: So, what? Since when does a dictatorship require popular support?!
Hanson: “You’re going to have defeat them and humiliate them,” a la Reagan, with a 58% victory in the popular vote.
N.S.: That’s impossible, in part due to Reagan, who signed off on a nation-breaking amnesty of illegal aliens.
I also think that Hanson is wrong, regarding why the communists decided to engage in lawfare against the President. The John Doe calling himself “Barack Obama” already engaged in lawfare during his first two terms. This is not merely a response to the President. democrats have been totalitarian for generations. (When “Obama” was in office, democrat prosecutors around the country threatened to arrest and prosecute republicans in jail and prosecute them, just for disagreeing with their democrat rivals.)
The problem is the republicans’ cowardice. Reagan did nothing to roll back democrats' incursions, even though Pat Buchanan had warned him in his first book (Conservative Votes, Liberal Victories) that he had to.

No Republican has won the popular vote for President since 1988. Never going to do so again probably.
VDH is a civnat cuck who would never publicly identify "diversity" as the primary driver of America's problems. Without racial "minorites" (soon to be the majority) acting as a foil to divide white people, almost all of the internal problems would be easier to fix.
The problems of the military industrial complex, a permanent wartime economy, and a neocon (many Jews) foreign policy that is always looking for enemies would still exist though. But a white super majority would eventually fix those too.
For what it's worth, Bush 43 won the popular vote in 2004.
