Country song by Jason Aldean is banned on cmt for being “racist,” as “liberals” go nuts (music videos)
[“fox’ war on Tucker Carlson is a forced exodus of republican dimensions.”]

GRA: The story was on zh. I haven’t heard of it. Plenty of accusations by the left of the song being “racist.” Here are the lyrics.
Sucker punch somebody on a sidewalk,
Carjack an old lady at a red light,
Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store,
Ya think it's cool, well, act a fool if ya like.
Cuss out a cop, spit in his face,
Stomp on the flag and light it up,
Yeah, ya think you're tough.
Well, try that in a small town,
See how far ya’ make it down the road,
Around here, we take care of our own,
You cross that line, it won’t take long,
For you to find out, I recommend you don’t
Try that in a small town.
Got a gun that my granddad gave me,
They say one day they’re gonna round up,
Well, that s—t might fly in the city, good luck.
Try that in a small town,
See how far ya’ make it down the road,
Around here, we take care of our own,
You cross that line, it won’t take long,
For you to find out, I recommend you don’t
Try that in a small town.
Full of good ol’ boys, raised up right,
If you’re looking for a fight,
Try that in a small town,
Try that in a small town.
Try that in a small town,
See how far ya’ make it down the road,
Around here, we take care of our own,
You cross that line, it won’t take long,
For you to find out, I recommend you don’t
Try that in a small town.
Try that in a small town,
Ooh-ooh,
Try that in a small town.
GRA: Others countered the racist charge by noting, blacks can have rap lyrics which condone murder, rape, and every other crime under the sun, but Aldean is not allowed to write a song that speaks of his disgust of “big city” (negro) crimes. That’s all great, but cmt banned him—which is not great. Boycott cmt anyone? Let’s see if that happens.

“A Country Boy Can Survive”: For years, Hank Williams sang the opening to monday night football, but when he said that the John Doe calling himself “Barack Obama” wasn’t his president, abc Whitelisted him. Hank Jr. surely inspired Jason Aldean.

Sorry, but somehow the most important lyrics didn't get transferred. Here they are:
Sucker punch somebody on a sidewalk
Carjack an old lady at a red light
Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store
Ya think it's cool, well, act a fool if ya like
Cuss out a cop, spit in his face
Stomp on the flag and light it up

You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town
Got a gun that my granddad gave me
They say one day they're gonna round up
Well, that shit might fly in the city, good luck
Try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't

The song,by the way,is the #1 song on I -tunes list, despite the howls from White haters.
