Yup, Daisy Gatsby, my taxpayer privilege is just for me. I pay about a third of my income annually for that privilege. Foreign invading criminals deserve no rights or consideration. The upside to the 53 deaths in that truck is that none of those people, or their offspring, will ever have to be educated in our schools, none will ever burden our emergency rooms and none will enter our prison systems IE become burdens on taxpayers.
If people want to afford themselves of this country's privileges, they can do what every other legal immigrant like myself did: Submit extensive and potentially exclusionary biometrics, submit to an extensive and potentially exclusionary background check and most importantly find a sponsor, to ensure they don't become burdens to taxpayers. They can pay the thousands of dollars in filing fees and go through the temporary residency probationary period before permanent resident eligibility. When and if they're sworn in as citizens, they can submit to the same restrictions and costs of sponsoring relatives.
Other than that, they can fuck off, or die in the back of a truck. Makes no difference to me.

Kids among the dead. And the Dems have the nerve to say this would not have happened if the open borders idea was implemented. We already have open borders with a large portion of the illegal never caught.
Where do these poverty stricken people from poverty stricken nations get the sums of money that they must pay the smuggler. That is a major business the smuggling.
That many dozens of people inside the trailer paying a hefty sum to the smuggler and it is almost all pure profit.

No, not yet. Officially that is.
Some people think because no Democratic politician will explicitly state they want open borders, they aren't really for it.
No controls no rules borders are exactly what some of them want and if we are not vigilant keeping those kind of politicians out of office, eventually they will achieve that goal.
