Laugh of the Day: negro Shoots Himself in Grand Rapids Gunfight
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are investigating after a man shot himself during a gunfight in southeast Grand Rapids.
It happened shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday on Eastern Avenue SE between Franklin and Hall streets.
The Grand Rapids Police Department told News 8 that officers were dispatched to the area for a report of shots fired. Several bullet casings were found there and a few blocks away on Watkins Street SW
A 27-year-old man then showed up at the hospital with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He told authorities he shot himself when he was trying to return fire at someone who shot at him, according to GRPD.
Police said his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
GRA: Not this time anyways—many more chances for this negro to finish himself off.
