Pence condemns Kenosha violence, backs police in convention speech
BALTIMORE — Vice President Pence on Wednesday condemned violent protests in American cities, including Kenosha, Wis., standing firmly with law enforcement even as the latest police shooting of a Black man has set off another round of intense protests.

"Let me be clear: the violence must stop – whether in Minneapolis, Portland, or Kenosha. Too many heroes have died defending our freedoms to see Americans strike each other down," Pence said to applause.

The vice president expressed support for the right to peacefully protest, but concluded, "We will have law and order on the streets of America for every American of every race, and creed and color."

Let's see if I can remember the five phases I made up,about "what a mayor says about ghetto violence",depending on where the city is at in the cycle:
1)"This is not what(choose a city)is about. We are very safe."(Usually as blacks start reaching population percentages of 3 to 10%.The murders are just starting).
2)"We will organize a task force to look into what's happening"(blacks reach 10-20%)
3)"This violence must stop."(blacks over 20% of a city).
4)"We're disappointed that the numbers are not declining."(That's because black population is not declining--over 30% at this point).
5)Mayor(usually black) resigns in scandal.New black voted in.Process complete--a lost city.
