White women:We're begging you, that when you take over the United States in November, that you spare us--remember who washed your feet." Blacks:"The only way I can remember you is to has some sex wit you--then I'll have to kill your white husband after he watches us." White women:"Yes Mandingo, whatever you say--to right the wrongs of "systemic racism." Black:"Here's some systemic sperm to give you a black baby." White women:"Me next, save US too!! I understand that Jesus wants us to be kind to each other, with a spirit of humility. Furthermore, standards are higher for Christians who accept his teachings and commandments. For one thing, we can't say that we don't know how to conduct ourselves because we do.
Having said that, I think I can articulate why this kind of thing really bothers me. If the purpose of a public foot-washing event is to promote peace, kindness, and humility, then everyone involved should be doing some foot-washing while getting their own feet washed at the same time. That would send a far healthier message than the one we're getting from the NC event.
I think our country is really sad shape at the moment. Like one of anonymous guys wrote, forced or self-inflicted white humility isn't going to stop at foot-washing.
Any policeman who washes their feet, kneels, apologizes, or runs from rioters should be fired immediately as they have demonstrated that they will not do their jobs. Any rioters or looters should be arrested on the spot. Police should use as much force as necessary to stop rioting and looting. If tear gas doesn't work, use rubber bullets. If rubber bullets don't work use real ones. Of course for this to work we need judges, prosecutors, and politicians who will back the police instead of the rioters. With our current dysfunctional system, any policeman who really did his job would be the one prosecuted--not the criminal thugs.
And it isn't going to do one bit of good. No matter what you do, never enough. Hopefully those fools will one day wake up. For some reason I have my doubts.
I am a dissident journalist, whose work has been published in dozens of daily newspapers, magazines, and journals in English, German, and Swedish, under my own name and many pseudonyms. While living in internal exile in New York, where I am whitelisted, I maintain NSU/The Wyatt Earp Journalism Bureau and some eight other blogs (some are distinctive but occasional venues, while others are mirrors), and also write for stout-hearted men such as Peter Brimelow and Jared Taylor.
