Hisss-tory made tonight on wheel of fortune—celebrity version goes completely bLACK

GRA: 8 p.m.—in poker, you’d call it a flush—all spades—as celebrity wheel of fortune debuts with Dionne Warwick, “chance the rapper,” and “li’l jon,” playing for charity.

Unbelievable. Will the two black guys bring weapons to the stage? We can only hope.

You can just feel it coming for the regular WOF, then they can't wait to replace Vanna with an obese negro. They're committed to Seacrest for the time being but when his contract is up, they'll go black. I can see it now, black host, black co host, 3 black contestants...all smirking about how they pushed Whitey out of his own creation. And an audience of slackjawed Whites applauding mindlessly at every stupid thing they say. It's the end of human reason as we know it.

Fun to think about what if the new Wheel of Fortune restored the shopping part of the game: the use of alternatives to actually purchasing stuff, of course. And also the scenes and themes of shopping rounds have an urban vibe: the pawn shop, the Korean-owned beauty supply store, the liquor store, the CVS with items locked behind plexiglas, the tax prep and payday loans storefront, the drug dealer, some sidewalk tables with stuff even cheaper than "Sale of the Century" prices... I don't think Saturday Night Live will be receptive to my ideas. But NSU, you bet! Have at it, lads.

And it's Pat Sajak's comeback--after retiring in June--he's doing these celeb shows.

I watched it and chance the rapper won by default. li'l jon kept calling letters that were previously called--purely low IQ behavior. Dionne was too old to spin the wheel and solve anything but her own song--"I Say a Little Prayer"--after coaching by the host.

Poor Pat--saddled with these three--but that's "wheel" for you tonight.
