GRA: The lyft driver was black, too.

“atlanta, Ga. (wkrc) — a police officer admitted to shooting and killing his lyft driver, according to a Georgia news station.

“Koby Minor was an officer for the atlanta police department for about six years, but resigned after he was arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault last week.

“police said that Minor shot the driver, Reginald Folks, because he thought he was a member of a ‘gay fraternity’ and was trying to kidnap him.

“according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the news station in Georgia, Minor said he asked Folks to stop the car but he did not. while they were stopped at a red light, Minor said he thought the car was locked and he could not get out.

“Minor said he shot Folks three times when the driver reached into the back seat.

“at the time of Minor’s arrest, he was on unpaid leave because he had previously been arrested when police found 20 xanax pills in a bag after he crashed his car.”
