In operation vengeance, Yamamoto shoots down the dodgers! (Or did he shoot down l.a. county taxpayers?)

Never heard of him--seriously.For $325 million,I SHOULD have heard of him,but this money is fiat.No one is worth that kind of dough, the Dodgers aren't worth what they are deemed to be valued at.

THIS IS A HOAX.TV money paid to ballclubs...is a HOAX.

Show me the money.

Show me the books--not the phony ones--the real ones.

I've always heard that figuring inflation over the long term-- in relation to how it affects your paycheck-- means your salary should double every nine years. In 1971,Al Kaline signed a contract for $100,000 dollars. This was an amount only the few, best players were paid at the time.It should have doubled in 1980,doubled in 1989 to $400,000,doubled in 1998 to $800,000,doubled in 2007 to $1.6 million, doubled to $3.2 million in 2016 and doubled again in 2025 to $6.4 million.THAT was the top tier of players.Recent contract agreements are well in excess of $30 million a year and rising rapidly--much above the rate of inflation--and fiscal sanity.

Never did see my paycheck double every nine years. But that is correct to that is what needs to occur to keep up with inflation.
