Another PROFESSOR. A math guy, too, like Kaczynski Unabomber. Don’t know yet if this guy was an algore enviro disciple. The winners are: (1) grief counselors; (2) candlemakers who supply the inevitable vigil; and possibly (3) students who use “I’m so upset I can’t study” as a ticket to be excused from final exams.

N.S.: The dead were business school professors Patricia Navarro-Velez and Cha Jan “Jerry” Chang, plus a third person who has yet to be identified, pending family notification. The killer was Anthony Polito, 67, a longtime, tenured business professor at East Carolina University (2001-2017).

Law enforcement authorities refused to release Polito’s name, or any information about him, but one leo released that information anonymously. The public has no right to know.
