Chemirmir allegedly made comments about someone's children while he was in prison.
This according to a texas news outlet.

N.S.: I have to respectfully disagree with my old vdare colleague, John Derbyshire. White prison gangs may have a concept fo a moral order, but black prison gangs don't. If Wyatt Busby had any motivation in killing Chemirmir, it may have been fear of the latter murdering him while he slept.

White gangs have the concept more of social order than moral order. A clearly defined hierarchy of white gang members at the top and those other whitey in categories below the gang members.

Generally inmates are housed and share cells with other inmates of the same race. People who run prisons cannot afford to believe in the color-blind nirvana of a diverse rainbow America. They know racial hostility is real and can result in even more violence than is normal among prisoners who are there for committing violent crimes. It can cost lives.
Apparently that is news to the people at Vdare.

Yes. Prisons segregated and for good reason. Cons will self segregate anyhow.
I recall reading some time ago that California used to segregate new white prisoners rather than throw them to the wolves (blacks). But then some leftist judge ruled such discrimination was illegal.
