White, "fourth-grade teacher and mother of two charged with raping boy, 12, at her tennessee home: 'It’s unspeakable'"; the allegedly heinous criminal could potentially get sentenced to serve more time in prison than most black or hispanic murderers! We could not obtain any photos of the happy victim

There's rape and then there's "rape". Very doubtful the males were forcibly raped. In fact it's likely they could not believe their luck. But she'll be charged with statutory rape and some kind of abuse of authority charge or whatever state law allows. She should also be permanently barred from working around kids and have to register and report as sex offender. Not sure if jail is necessary, but she'll probably do time. Foolish woman.

Statutory rape. YEP. She is going away for a long time. And other minors were victims too?

I vote for lucky victim too. This victimization seems contrived. I'll have to ask a therapist friend what she thinks. The official reaction seems like it would be more damaging than the crime.

A relative's first "girlfriend" was his teacher. Doesn't seem to have hurt him at all--went to a famous college, had a successful career, plus a wife and children. The worst that happens is it may give the "victim" a swelled head--no pun intended. Men raping little girls and boys is an entirely different matter--but I have read that homosexuals raping teen-aged boys is a crime that is frequently ignored.
By the way, if you read a little history you find that it was common practice in the past for girls to get married at 14 or 15--or even younger. Naive readers may be shocked when the read about the age of girls that that famous Americans married. And in the middle ages, peasants didn't marry until the girl was pregnant. This was because a man could not survive without children to help work the farm--and so he had to make sure the woman was fertile before marrying. There was no Social Security or retirement savings--getting old without lots of children was a serious problem--and many children died in those days. Compared to most of history, life is safe and luxurious today so women can wait until they are 30 or older to marry. For most, life is no longer a grim fight for survival.
