GRA:I 've been watching the coverage the past few days and the "Coco Gauff is the new Serena/Venus Williams" media bandwagon reached new heights of stupidity as Gauff outlasted the European Muchova in three sets Thursday night.The pandemonium was actually exceeded later in the evening,as the U.S. media began to smell an all black women's final,after halfie blackie Madison Keys jumped to a one set lead over #1 player(White)Aryna Sabalenka--6-0--causing negro sugarplums to begin dancing in reporter's heads(and on their keyboards).
There isn't anything woke sports scribes drool over more than blacks competing in tennis at a high level,but after Keys looked to be a shoo-in for the finals,they were already expounding about "history'.
Sabalenka had other ideas and won the last two sets in tiebreakers to shut the black loving press up.
It was great.
