From last october: "inside nyc's migrant tent city: 3 meals, fluff-and-fold laundry, tv and even xbox"

I hadn't seen this before.

A chinese-born correspondent of mine keeps bringing items like this to my attention, expecting me to be outraged.  I just keep telling her, "I'm saturated.  What more can I say?  The U.S. is finished.  I'm glad to be 75."

Same sentiment been going through my head recently. Even if finished, I can only conclude USA irredeemable and the conclusion foregone. No longer interested in what occurs. Just knowing it is going to happen enough.

Isaiah told King Hezekiah about the evil which Babylon would inflict on Judah after Hezekiah's death. In fact, some of Hezekiah's sons would even be made into eunuchs. However, Hezekiah would not be forced to witness these things while he was still alive.

I care about what happens to people who don't deserve to be brutalized and exploited. However, I admit that I too don't have much hope for the US at this point.

(ktla)A Palmdale man has been arrested in the shooting death of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer, officials announced Monday.

“We are extremely confident we have the right person in custody,” L.A. County Sheriff Robert Luna said in a Monday morning press conference.

Clinkunbroomer, 30, was found unconscious and suffering from gunshot wounds in his squad car near the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Avenue Q around 6 p.m. Saturday.

He was pronounced dead after being taken to the Antelope Valley Medical Center.

Investigators believe he was ambushed and killed for no apparent reason, and Luna described the attacker as a “coward.”

GRA:Sorry I'm on this rant about "no apparent reason",but what apparent reason would justify shooting ANYONE--except self defense?
