I guess the authorities, in league with the perv community, will try to criminalize making "disparaging remarks" about unconstitutionally protected groups.
Carleton had been an executive for 15 years at anti-normal shoe company, Kenneth Cole.

N.S.: This reminds me of how, during the 1960s or ‘70s, black supremacists perverted the meaning of “community” to mean only the “community” of black supremacists. Thus, when mountain provisions cooperative praised Carleton as “a pillar in our community,” they meant the perv community. She was an enemy to all normal people, excepting “allies.”
nbc news claimed that Carleton was a “mother of nine,” but as that sounded dubious, and there were no statements from her family, 44 hours after the crime, I pulled the claim from my hed. The “mother of nine” line could have referred to african trophy adoptees, a la Mia Farrow, Madonna Ciccone, or David French, or nine cats.
Laura Ann Carleton’s killer died in a shootout with police. nbc news refused to identify him. Does that mean he was black?

Yup,a "rally 'round the fag" story by the networks.SHE,apparently wasn't gay(who knows--even if married?),but endorsed the behavior.
Network news can't resist the compulsion to report about incidents where a perp says he hates gays and then shoots a supporter of gays.So simple to call it "hate"--whether that was the motive or not.No investigating,no facts,just assumptions.
Can't believe a word they say.

TRAVIS IKEGUCHI KILLED CARLETON
Police have named a man who shot dead a California store owner after an argument over a Pride flag as Travis Ikeguchi.
The 27-year-old killed Laura Ann Carleton, 66, outside of her Mag.Pi clothing store in Cedar Glen by a suspect who made “several disparaging remarks about a rainbow flag that stood outside the store,” the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies responded to the incident around 5pm on Friday following reports of shots being fired. The mother of nine children was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Ikeguchi was later shot dead during a confrontation with police.
Hollywood director Paul Feig, whose works include Bridesmaids and The Heat, posted a tribute saying that Carleton, who he called his “wonderful friend,” had been killed by a young man.
The Lake Arrowhead LGBTQ+ described her as a “remarkable figure”, whose "unwavering support" for the community and “dedication to creating a safe and inclusive space within her shop touched the lives of many”.
