In 2022, a sixth member of the "central park five," Steven Lopez, was "exonerated." How five could become six, nobody bothered to explain. Actually, there were several more "suspects," most of whom confessed to their crimes, who never went to prison for their attack on Trisha Meili. the cpfive were also convicted for their brutal attacks on eight other parkgoers. Charles Tejada issued them illegal "exonerations" for those heinous crimes, as well.
