From the original 538 hoax: “In 2020, for example, murder has been up but other crimes are in decline so that the crime rate, overall, is down.”
That assertion may be possible in some parallel universe, but as a practical matter, it's an impossibility.
Murder is the king of chaos. Gang rub-outs notwithstanding (which are themselves more often than not part of drug gang turf wars), murder is often an accompaniment to other crimes such as rape, robbery, burglary, carjacking, kidnapping, etc.
And as Steve Sailer noted, the notion that crime is down in 2020, is simply ridiculous.
These mopes can't even keep their lies straight. Early on, when discussing Whites, whom they of course deride as paranoid, they assert that it is racist to believe that an area with more black males ("stereotyping") could have a lower crime rate than one without them, but pull a complete switcheroo later on, when discussing blacks’ fears, which they treat with great respect, including acknowledging that blacks suffer more from crime.
This “thing” (to avoid using an obscenity) is part of a tradition of fraud. About 30 years ago, I read an article or book by some academic “expert” which asserted that Whites during the 1970s were paranoid about crime, when “actually” crime was down. Never mind that there was a crime explosion during the 1970s.
Note that they cite the Huffington Post as a source at least twice.
Such lying garbage serves more than one purpose. It permits the content-providers to virtue signal while presumably being paid; it helps wage a genocidal race and class war against middle and lower-class whites; it expresses enmity towards decent whites, while expressing loyalty towards their clients and allies, black Democrats; and it seeks to break the will of those opposed to White genocide, by telling them, “Resistance is futile.”
They do permit comments so far, though nothing remained, or had been permitted through, when I just checked.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A 12-year-old girl was shot in Grand Rapids Tuesday evening but is expected to recover from her injuries.
The incident happened outside of a home on Olympia Street off of Grandville Avenue SW around 8 p.m.
Police set up a perimeter in the area but had not reported any arrest in the case as of late Tuesday night.
The victim’s family told News 8 that they believe the shooting is connected to a days-long dispute with a family that lives nearby.
Nichole Matthews, the victim’s aunt, said Alonna James is the girl who was shot.
“Once my sister made it to the driveway, they got to shooting and my niece was hit,” James told News 8. “She doesn’t understand why it happened to her.”
Matthews said Alonna had surgery Tuesday night to remove the bullet from her leg.
Neighbors who live on the street where the shooting took place expressed frustration about the violence in the community.
“We’re just sick and tired of all this crap going on around here,” a neighbor who asked not to be identified told News 8.
Grand Rapids has seen a recent spike in gun violence and homicides.
Alonna is one of two children shot recently in the city. A 2-year-old girl was shot in the arm last month. She survived her injuries as well.
Officers were searching for a suspect Tuesday night.

This is said quite often after a publicized crime.The inference,is that there is much more crime occurring(and not being reported to police or by media).
A week ago,a drive-by shooting shed some light on that aspect when a neighbor told the local TV station,"we're moving out of Grand Rapids--this violence is going on everywhere in Grand Rapids."
But not reported--either by residents,police or your wonderful,liberal TV outlets.But the PEOPLE know the truth--at least the ones who live in these areas.
