That's what the elites have given us.

Reminds me of a client I spoke with earlier today.

Very, very English place names in the Tidewater.

But I digress.

My client and I were talking about our respective ancestors.

I told him that I had relatives going back to 1762 in Galax, Virginia.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galax,_Virginia

He responded, "My distant ancestor came here in the 1600s as an indentured servant."

That's what we are.

We're indentured servants yearning for our freedom.

And what does Donald Trump do?

He talks about bringing in more Third World labor.

When folks are disenfranchised they become disenchanted.

Indentured servants had to work off a seven year contract. At the time the contract worked off they would be given eighty acres of land the right to vote. Not such a bad deal. A main point of contention in the contract used to be how many times per week the master would feed them Atlantic salmon. A far better life than any lower-class freeman in England probably had at the time.
