A Report from Champagne County, Illinois

Well, I have no problem believing they are agitating and helping things along, but when I saw the riot here in Champagne on live TV on Sunday, it was basically a black looting event.

A “protest” popped up Sunday afternoon at, of all places, “Macy’s.”

Seriously, it’s so obvious the real motive was to loot like they had seen on TV in other locales the day before and wanted to get some of that action for themselves.

They moved on and hit “Gordmans” and a bunch of other places where I couldn’t see the moniker above, before moving down the street causing mayhem and hitting the local high-end liquor store, “Binny’s,” where they sell $80 bottles of Tequila, etc., then trashing the Gas Station at Meijer, before enough cops showed up from around the entire region to stop them before they got into Best Buy, where a metal barricade had to be set up.

I’d always thought the city was setting up its premier shopping district, “North Prospect,” too close to the hood and should have been way out south, around Exit 232 in the cornfields in the upscale part of town. Problem is the liberals want to start running “buses” out to the 232 Fields area, which will bring along the kind of lowlifes who ride them.

[N.S.: That’s the whole point.]

I hope they prosecute the creeps on video to the fullest but the state’s attorney is Julia Reitz, a soft-on-crime female who gave a black hoodlum a slap on the wrist after he’d fired off a gun in the Steak N’ Shake parking lot, only to have him fire off a gun AGAIN a year later on campus, killing a med student a block away, hit by the “random gunfire.”

She also gave the paroled child molester Duane Eric Edwards a slap on the wrist, after he was caught “babysitting” a group of four kids under the age of ten in the park he wasn’t supposed to be in. A guy who spent 17 years in prison for molesting a young boy, so being around kids this age was his MO. He got probation, and they didn’t even try to run him out of town. Well, two years later, he was arrested for molesting the seven-year-old boy he was caught with in the park, and they had photographic evidence he’d made of his crimes.

Reitz is not who we need now to handle these insurrectionists. I’d prosecute them all to the fullest, we’ve got room after all, didn’t the Left use the Wuhan Virus as an excuse to empty the jails?

HEY, what happened to the Mall of America in Minneapolis [or near there]. That was the biggest mall in America for a long time. Have the looters gotten there yet. They built a special bus route for them so they could shop there. And you know how they love to shop. Such poor money and yet so much disposable income.

SATURDAY NIGHT RIOT PREVIEW
(ZH)Now that most of NYC's retailers have either already been looted, or have been preemptively boarded up and emptied of merchandise until to ride out the unrest, the same looters who relied on more strategic tactics like working in crews and using drivers and lookouts are reportedly targeting wealthy suburbs like Connecticut and New Jersey.

On the advice of state police, retail outlets along I-95 (a critical vehicular artery connecting Westchester and southern Connecticut and the city) are closing and boarding up their stores on Saturday to try and discourage looters, and the potentially deadly confrontations with police that might ensue.

Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets will be closed this weekend after police detected social media posts calling for looters to converge at the premium outlets in Clinton, Conn.

In response to Facebook threats of looting and rioting, Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets will be closed Saturday and Sunday, according to an official of the retail outlet center.

Entrances and exits at Clinton Crossing, a member of the Simon Property Group, will be blocked with Jersey barriers. Some stores, including Polo Ralph Lauren and Finish Line, were boarded up starting Friday morning.

"Based on the credibility of threats and law enforcement recommendations, the decision has been made to temporarily close," Nathan Ramos, area general manager, wrote in a letter to mall businesses."...Our goal is to provide a safe environment for tenants, customers and employees."

Clinton Crossing, off Exit 63, is home to about 70 outlet stores, including the upscale Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Kate Spade New York and Michael Kors, as well as Sunglass Hut and Yankee Candle.

The following message was posted to premiumoutlets.com.

"We are deeply saddened and troubled by the murder of Mr. Floyd and mourn his senseless loss," it reads. "We stand united for racial equality and pray for the healing of our communities."

Police aren't solely concerned about the looting: there's also the fear that confrontations between looters and police could lead to violence and deaths on either side.

Clinton police are being especially cautious in light of incidents across the country sparked by the death of George Floyd while in custody of Minneapolis police.

There also have been some incidents around the country of riots and looting, leading management and shop owners to take preventive actions, said Clinton Police Chief Vincent DeMaio.

"We’ve been following it since Tuesday, we’ve been monitoring it all along," said DeMaio.

Meanwhile, a candidate for Baltimore City Council told looters and rioters to "take that mess to Towson" (a suburban area) urging them to light fires and loot stores in the suburbs because Baltimore is still "traumatized" from the Freddie Grey riots.
GRA:After a few days rest, all signs point to more random, pointless violence, with 300,000 expected in Washington. What are the odds everyone will be peaceful? What are the odds the White House won't be attacked?

PAUL MCCARTNEY SUPPORTS BLM
GRA:A portion of his quote:
“I feel sick and angry that here we are almost 60 years later and the world is in shock at the horrific scenes of the senseless murder(?) of George Floyd at the hands of police racism, along with the countless others that came before,” McCartney added in his post. “I want justice for George Floyd’s family, I want justice for all those who have died and suffered. Saying nothing is not an option.”
So I jotted down a little song, using his most famous Beatle's hit as my inspiration.HE would never write lyrics like this, because McCartney--like all the Hollywood and musical multi-millionaires--are far removed from the rotting neighborhoods caused by blacks.
YESTERDAY(FOR WHITE PEOPLE)
Yesterday,
All the negroes seemed so far away
Now they riot nearly every day
Oh,I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly,
Things are not the way they used to be
Free speech being taken 'way from me
Mass censorship,came suddenly.

Why, I,was let go
I don't know,
but they said to me,
I wrote,"ALM"
now my speech
doesn't seem so free-e-e

Yesterday
life was better than it is today
Not sure if I am allowed to say
"Oh,I believe in yesterday."

( Hum into close)
