Texas' coronavirus hotspots are in rural counties, near big meat-processing plants Though our grasp of the virus's spread is limited, the highest prevalence appears to be in the northern end of the Panhandle and Deep East Texas.



ATR: No Americans work at the meat packing plants in the Texas Panhandle.

Right. These recruiters go into the interior of Mexico and promise the Mexican peon all sorts of pay and overtime, etc. Then they get here and work [illegally] but are not even full time hours. No benefits, etc.
