This has been a bad seven days for liberal do-gooders. Last week saw the drowning death of Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKean and her son Gideon in Chesapeake Bay. Now we hear of Dr. Beth Potter and her husband Robert Carre being murdered by their adopted daughter’s lowlife boyfriend and another thug.

When not filled with photos of landscapes of the natural world, Beth’s timeline features solicitations for various causes she supported.
Exhibit A: The last entry on the timeline, August 23, 2019, promotes a fundraiser to prevent fires in the Amazon, noting that “Climate change is real.”
Exhibit B: On Feb. 17, 2019 she donated to Freedom Inc. with links to this statement of purpose.

Count the clichés in that one. Note too on their poster: "You can't claim to care about Black Excellence and have police in schools."
Exhibit C: On Sept. 29, 2018 Mimi herself has an entry announcing that for her birthday she is requesting donation to a home for old dogs; she raised $200.
Exhibit D: On Feb. 8, 2017 Beth signed a petition from Health Professionals Against the Ban, with the pictured slogan, “Refugees are human beings.” This petition, begun by a doctor named Sagar Shah, is presumably a piece of open-borders advocacy.

There are a couple charities that I approve of--and have for years.Both provide meals to local seniors.Other than that,while watching TV ads for polar bears on floating ice chunks,old Jews in Russia,dogs who are hired to stand around to look abandoned and abused,I have a suggestion--instead of trying to suck money out of citizens who probably need the money for their own lives--get Bill Gates to fund your charities--or Marlo Thomas/Phil Donahue etc.
GET-TV and Antenna TV run nothing but these types of ads--a constant attempt to get their demographic audience of 65 to 95 to send in their dough.
Eric McCormack is a spokesman for the doggie one.If he's so concerned about dogs,at minimum,he should be donating large amounts of his "Will and Grace" income (a million an episode?)and finance this endeavor himself--and leave the poor folks out of it.My mom gives to a lot of charities--$10 or $5 to about 10 a month--and she only has minimal Social Security.At the end of the month,she's always short.I say,"Mom,YOU need the money more than these hack charities do."
She says,"I like giving to help the trees and animals."
I say,"There are billionaires who should be doing this.Plus,as much money as these charities spend on advertising, to con money from people like you,they should use it to get the rich to fund what they're attempting to do."
She doesn't fall for the TV ads,there's enough junk mail that oomes in to persuade her to send her much needed funds to them.
The end to this story is,after a lot of talking,I convinced her to cut back to a couple a month--much better.

Liberalism IS a mental disorder. This poor liberal couple was addicted to making themselves feel good without actually doing good--as with their black daughter. Now they are dead and their daughter will likely end up in jail--unless she gets a pass because her parents were merely whites.
While I love dogs and think they all deserve love and care (unlike a lot of humans), beware of dog charities. When you investigate you find that at least one is run by some scamsters that put out a lot of YouTube videos of rescuing dogs, but actually take the money and abandon the dogs. I am also suspicious of the many foreign organizations. It would be easy to find a street dog in bad condition and then make a video of it improving and ask for money. I'm sure there are some good organizations which actually care for dogs, but beware of the scams. And PETA KILLS an enormous number of dogs--their idea of "ethical treatment" is the same as Dr. Kivorkian (sp?), the assisted suicide ghoul.
The couple evidently adopted a colored girl who revolted against her white parents. The couple executed [first kidnapped?] by the negro boyfriend of the daughter. The daughter probably raised in a manner she could not ever gotten from the birth parent. And how does the daughter respond!
