Do Indictments of Jeffrey Epstein’s Prison Guards Put to Rest “Conspiracy Theories,” or Just Add Grist to the Mill?

My take from yesterday:

BLACK GUARDS KILLED EPSTEIN BY BEING BLACK (LAZY)—UNLESS—SURVEILLANCE TAPE WAS ALTERED

GRA: NBC showed a two-second view of an artist’s rendering of the two guards in court today—Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben. As you’ll read, SUPPOSEDLY, by viewing surveillance tape, investigators found that no one appeared to be in the Epstein cell area from 10:30 p.m. until 6:30 a.m., when Epstein was discovered dead. Black guards just livin’ their lives--doing nothing, bein’ lazy—never made an appearance—SUPPOSEDLY.

Now, can investigators give assurances to people like me that the surveillance video was not edited or tampered with? I thought not.

(Fox News) An indictment filed Tuesday in Manhattan federal court alleged that guards, Tova Noel [Aunt Jemima] and Michael Thomas [Uncle Ben], “repeatedly failed to complete mandated counts of prisoners under their watch in the MCC’s Special Housing Unit,” according to a statement from the United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York.

Noel and Thomas were arraigned Tuesday on charges of conspiracy and making false records in connection with Epstein's death. Both pleaded not guilty

Prosecutors wrote in the indictment that no one appeared to enter the area where Epstein was being held in the hours before he was found dead.

Bernie Kerik:

“The camera evidence defuses the conspiracy theories. At the beginning of each tour there is a bed check... Epstein was the only guy in the cell and he’s alive at 10:30 p.m. and there’s been nobody in the area.” said Kerik.

GRA: Kerik is very trusting, isn’t he?

N.S.: Why are they citing Bernie Kerik? I guess because he has so much prison experience, first as New York City Corrections commissioner, and then as a federal convict. In between, he was one of a long line of corrupt New York City police commissioners.

I don’t trust him, and his statement is illogical, in any event. Why would the video “defuse” the conspiracy theories?

By the way, Kerik appears to be the only person in New York City who believes that Epstein committed suicide. Maybe that’s why Fox used him.

Oh, and by the way, Epstein didn’t kill himself.

N.S.: I guess I’m a conspiracy theorist now, too, but you can tamper with a videotape to make it look as if nothing happened for a protracted period.
