DA Announces No Charges for Jason Crawford

Truth or Consequences

Note:  A reader wrote regarding 'Schiff Show Continues,' "Thanks for discussing what way too many are fearful to consider.  Did you realize that big witness US Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman is Jewish, too?"

Note:  Opposition leader Benny Gantz was unable to form a coalition government in Israel, thus a third nationwide election is likely early next year.  Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been indicted on charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust:

"Combating human trafficking and protecting children from falling victim to this
terrible form of modern-day slavery is one of my top public safety priorities."
- District Attorney Summer Stephan, January 22, 2019

"Students say Jason Crawford created an unusual atmosphere, including frequent
campus visitors who never checked in to the office or wore visitor badges."
- Eric Bartl, San Diego Reader, August 28, 2019

A California teacher terminated for grooming students for sexual liaisons with friends in the hip hop community will not be criminally charged, San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan announced.

Lincoln High School visual arts instructor Jason "JShark" Crawford, 46, was accused of luring female students into arrangements with MTV / VH1 host Nick Cannon, urban performer DJ Mustard, and others.

A six-month investigation proved inconclusive according to Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Matzger.

Local lawyer Marlea Dell'Anno criticized the decision, telling journalists, "I've been doing this long enough to know when an agency is doing a sham investigation.  If you don't try to get the evidence, then you can say you don't have it."

A complaint for damages against school administrators and Crawford, brought by Dell'Anno on behalf of one student, is replete with sordid details:

in class and flipped to a video clip of Crawford having sex. Crawford later showed Jane Doe 1 the entire video on his cell phone and bragged that he had made full pornographic videos in the past.

A cover article by Eric Bartl at the San Diego Reader in late August stunned parents and eventually led to Crawford's suspension, October 10.  Later he was fired by county administrators and barred from the grounds of all public schools.

A San Diego attorney who asked his name be withheld remarked, "Summer Stephan is in a place way above what her professional credentials merit.  To prosecute Crawford leads to Cannon who is the local African American who's made it to the national stage.

"Stephan wasn't willing to go there, plain and simple."

As described by this newsletter, September 3, the Crawford row is only the latest in a series of controversies surrounding Lincoln High School since it reopened as a "progressive" $129 million school in 2007 to serve the predominantly black community in southeast San Diego.

Distinct "academies" now comprise Lincoln:  Science and Engineering, Public Safety, Arts, and Social Justice.  A fifth school called the "New Arrivals Academy," added in 2012, emphasizes English instruction and is geared toward immigrants, particularly those of Somali and Ugandan backgrounds.

Lincoln's ambitions remain the most costly endeavor in the San Diego Unified School District's 165-year history.

To say the results have been disastrous may be an understatement.

Ethnic student groups, including Lincoln's sizable Hispanic population, lay claim to different sections of the cafeteria, recreational rooms, and a multi-level parking garage.  End of the class day brawls are common, and two uniformed San Diego policemen are permanently assigned to the school.

And despite a per pupil expenditure among the highest in the state, standardized test scores at Lincoln coalesce near the bottom in all subjects examined.

But back Dell'Anno, who ultimately represented three young women bringing allegations against Crawford.

"'Sara' is one of the most credible clients I have ever had, and the failure of this district attorney to protect her, along with every other government and educational agency involved, is one of the worst cases I have ever seen.

"(City Attorney) Mara Elliott and Summer Stephan have been all over the airwaves promoting their support for victims.

"But it's proven to be all talk," Dell'Anno said.

"I noticed that you made a lot of generalizations about the majority of white students being privileged."
- Georgia Southern Freshman, Statesboro, GA, October 9, 2019

"I came here because I was invited, and I talked about white privilege because it's a very
real thing.  You are actually benefiting right now in even asking this question."
- My Time Among the Whites Author Jeannine Capo Crucet, October 9, 2019

Students at Georgia State University may be among the most cognizant in the nation.

Last month students roundly rejected the theses of author and The New York Times contributor Jeannine Capo Crucet who spoke on campus regarding the ills of "white privilege."

Capo Crucet called those assembled "aggressive and ignorant," and a second lecture at GSU's satellite campus in Savannah was cancelled after students barbequed reading assignments written by Crucet.

WJCL-TV22 sent POC Sharon Johnson to the scene of the kerfuffle to file the expected politically correct report:

Capo Crucet's My Time Among the Whites (2019) and Make Your Home Among Strangers (2015) is standard grievance fare, and the author touched on both books in her remarks.

Afterward, The George-Anne, GSU's 92-year old student newspaper, published commentary about Capo Crucet, including:

"Are you usually that racist, or were you putting on a front to promote your shitty and pointless book at my college?  Work on your ignorance and racism toward white people," Caitlin said.

"Maybe (the burnings) wouldn't happen if you spoke about your book instead of dissing white people the entire time," wrote Patrick Boren.

"The students reacted to her sanctimonious blather in a way that aptly expressed their outrage that the university would invite someone with a self-serving agenda and subject a large segment of the community to something they're tired of hearing.

"Expect more book burnings here and elsewhere.  This era of condescending rhetoric is about to end," Manic Drummer said.

University President Kyle Marrero offered up the usual inclusion mush following Capo Crucet's visit, yet added that no student would be disciplined for disagreeing with the speaker.

Now a GSU underclassman's poignant presentation to a composition class has garnered more than 43,700 views in less than a week.

Student Charles Robertson ably illustrates the dilemmas facing the First World.

Negro schools are famous for naming their educational institutions with such grandiose titles.

We should be working to bring the people, including my people together not putting them separate area's. Was it not Dr King who said judge a man by the content of his character not his skin color? America is a great country and I am glad to be here and I hope to help make it greater. Avoid those who seek to divide us, believe me I know.

I can only reply--as briefly as possible.I don't judge anyone by the color of their skin, but by the laziness in their soul, the evil in their brain, the actions that they commit. It just so happens, the people who worship Allah and promise to spread the Muslim religion around the world and kill any infidels who object, looks a certain way--like Osama bin Laden.
The people whose criminal actions in subways, schools,Popeyes,Ferguson Missouri,Chicago,Baltimore, malls across America and our city streets--have a black toned skin color. Are we supposed to ignore that fact?
Mexicans are not judged by their light brown skin, but by their drug dealing, violence and illegal invasion into our country.
In this case, color is a pretty good indicator of who I just might want to stay away from.
