Some followup on the situation in Maui would be nice, but the Internet has the attention span of a puppy dog. Got the raspberry on ZH once for suggesting that sites like that should actually send reporters out to cover stuff, as newspapers used to do. In the pre-Net days, we were promised an "information super-highway" via our computers. Instead we got a freeway of idiocy.
