HOLD THE PRESSES, ignore the drones... top of the nypost.com front page just now: "Titan of Industry" and "Legendary" Greg Gumbel has assumed room temperature (a little Rush Limbaugh lingo there, ladies and gentlemen).

Not "Iconic", alas, but merely "Titan of Industry" and "Legendary".

Surely when the day comes, Bryant, age 76, will be remembered as "Iconic".

***** and like a Kwanzaa miracle ***** No, no, Bryant is still at 99.6, a touch of Trump Derangement Fever burning there. But this: Scrolling down on the Post's front page, it says "A raging fire engulfed a stall at Bryant Park’s iconic holiday market". There you have it! Bryant... iconic... in the same sentence! Greg may have departed but Journalism lives on.

I just posted the insanity of Gumbel being given sainthood by media. He was a damn sports announcer. Frizzy hair and a permanent suntan,however,lifts him up to "iconic" levels of adoration in the eyes of media scum.
