abc appears to have a decent special tomorrow on the 80th anniversary of D-DAY.

GRA: David Muir looks to have put together a respectful program, if today's preview is any indicator. Muir is in Normandy, meeting and talking with U.S. veterans who were part of D-Day, 80 years ago, on June 6th and have made the trip one more time.

The vets are all between 95 and 102 years of age, many still upright and walking. One medic described the area where troops came ashore as "Bloody Beach."

Many stories of heroism from the 100% Whites that Muir interviewed.

The report says,136 vets from WWII die every day.

All I can say to all of them, including my dad and uncles who served back then is: Thank you.

Did David Muir have to declare his haughty smirk at Customs? What if he can't bring the haughty smirk back to the USA? Total mystery to me as to how he could ever be picked for the numero uno primo prime-time anchorstar. Then again, I never understood Peter Jennings' fame either.
