I mean writers penned so many classics in the 40s,50s and 60s,but now--nothing.Is the dearth of talent that extreme in 2023? Or is it the record company's fault that they'd rather release rap crap than happy holiday music--not necessarily religious,but those too.

Music goes a long way in providing the attitude of a country in the way it lives,day to day.Right now,it reflects the lawless attitude of blacks--and THAT needs to change.
