sir Ian Wilmut, the scientist who led the team that cloned Dolly the sheep in 1996, has died at 79. the university of edinburgh, where he served as a professor before his 2012 retirement, announced his passing today.

I wonder if Sir Ian left some body tissue behind so he can be eventually cloned. Haven't hear a whole lot about cloning lately.

Cloning, what a bunch of crap. It's just manipulating mother nature's already in existence biological functions. When we can step into a machine and our duplicate evil twin steps out, like in sci fi books and movies, THEN I'll be impressed.
