what do the last two links have to do with the texas story?
which is weird. apparently a dept wanted to hire a black female. obviously very liberal. used to work at ut austin and for the nyt.
the dept put together an attractive offer. but some people apparently didn't like the idea of hiring the black woman for such a job. maybe a black woman, maybe this particular black woman. it's not clear.
it seems these people put pressure on the univ president, a white woman. looks like the white lady univ president interfered in the hiring by watering down the job offer. to the point it became unattractive to the black lady professor and she decided (correctly really) that she was not wanted and withdrew from the whole process.
also per the story the white lady univ president told fibs. she said she had not interfered in the hiring when she actually had, according to the dept anyway (seems they ought to know). now the white lady president is resigning due to not having been entirely truthful about her involvement.
"Shannon Van Zandt, an executive associate dean in A&M’s School of Architecture, also stepped down, saying she could no longer confidently tell job candidates from different backgrounds that they’d get a fair shot."
fat ugly white woman then also symbolically resigns. for no good reason really. a weird kind of self immolation virtue signaling. why would she resign for the given reason when the white lady univ president who apparently interfered in the hiring had already resigned? does not make a lot of sense.

another incident showing how much messier diversity makes everything. also how having women involved is often a problem. yet women now significantly outnumber men in college. good luck.
