"Moreno, Kirkpatrick push for border patrol, ice to remove face masks in new orleans sweeps"
N.S.: The headline and most of the "thing" (by Blake Paterson, culprit) are completely misleading. It's only when you read the last portion and the linked "information sheet" that you realize that mayor-elect Helena Moreno and chief police person Anne Kirkpatrick are criminls, who are aiding and abetting other criminals.
Lede: “mayor-elect Helena Moreno said she’s 'disturbed' by reports she has seen of U.S. customs and border protection conduct in other cities and that she will do what is within her power to ensure new orleanians' rights aren’t violated, including by connecting residents with attorneys who volunteered to provide free legal advice.”
Note: the sentence runs 51 words, but only quotes one word.
Moreno isn't talking about “New Orleanians' rights,” but of the imaginary rights of illegal aliens.
“[Moreno] said she worries that the border patrol agents’ practice of concealing their faces and not wearing identifiable uniforms during immigration raids could cause confusion and lead to violence.”
Border patrol agents do wear identifiable uniforms. What Moreno, who isn't even the mayor yet, is doing, is seeking to incite violence by foreign criminals, so that she can later say, I told you so!
“'but what we’ve been seeing across the country and in other cities is that border patrol appears to be targeting brown people and potentially violating even some of their due process rights.'”
This is an open borders zealot talking point, not the words of anyone who is supposedly upholding the law.
“Moreno’s transition team put a call out to attorneys willing to provide free legal advice to those caught up in the dragnet. She said a local law school is also providing training for those volunteers, though she didn’t identify which school. [So, a criminal law school aiding and abetting foreign criminals is permitted to hide its identity, but federal law enforcement is not permitted to do so.] Her transition also published a fact sheet to educate people on their rights.
“Kirkpatrick, also speaking at wednesday’s event, said nopd has a long-standing policy against asking about people’s immigration status. [But that's a crime. She is twisting crime into the law.] She also said it’s not the responsibility of nopd to enforce federal crimes associated with immigration violations. [That's a lie.]
“We want to make sure our immigrant [English translation: illegal alien] community does not fear us and they see all of us as one,” she said.
But illegal aliens SHOULD fear law enforcement. After all, they're criminals! What she means is that she wants illegals to believe that federal law enforcement has less legal standing than local cops, no standing at all, actually.
Meanwhile, local cops were long-ago illegally transformed by municipal leaders into the friends of foreign criminals. And if it were true, as Moreno asserts, that federal cops have fewer powers than local cops (whatever happened to the supremacy clause?!), then federal cops have no right to arrest foreign criminals. But that's crazy.
Illegal alien advocate Blake Paterson, disguised as a journalist at the new orleans times-picayune, has linked to a disinformation sheet from the nijc, the national immigration justice center. The nijc is a group of open borders zealots.
“immigration officers often identify themselves as police, but they are not police.”
Of course, they're police. This lie alone has already undoubtedly already caused the loss of life.
“If you are undocumented:...”
No such legal status as “undocumented” exists. The legal status is that of “illegal alien” (those are not scare quotes. This deliberate deception also encourages illegal aliens to lie about their status, and may have caused bloodshed. After all, if a sworn police officer asks if you are an illegal alien, and you say no, it could wreak all sorts of all sorts of havoc.
With Helena Moreno (who is not even the mayor yet) and Anne Kirkpatrick, you have lies on top of lies on top of lies, and crimes on top of crimes on top of crimes.

One corrupt mayor is followed by another. black and mex want to make their own laws up for cities they run--even if those "laws" go against federal law. Democrazy in blue cities.
