grand rapids ties last year's murder count with a "run-of-the-mill" overnight shooting in the ghetto
"grand rapids, mich. (wood) – one person is dead and another is in custody after a shooting on the southeast side of grand rapids early sunday morning, police say
"around 1:30 a.m., the grand rapids police department was called to the area of Lafayette avenue se between MLK jr. street and Pleasant street for reports of a shooting.
[GRA: Nothing "pleasant" about that area.]
"at the scene, officers found an adult man who had been shot. he was taken to the hospital where he later died.
"officers took a person of interest into custody around 3:30 a.m., grpd said in a release.
GRA: But I wonder if he's the nig-napper.
