Whose "fault" is this? Shallow (more damaging) 5.2 earthquake hits just east of tehran, no confirmed reports of casualties or damage

"(interestingengineering.com) a 5.2 magnitude earthquake jolted central iran late thursday, striking an area already on edge, amid an intensifying conflict with Israel.

"according to the U.S. geological survey, the quake hit at 9:19 p.m. local time, with the epicenter located about 23 miles (37 km) southwest of semnan — roughly 210 km (130.5 miles) east of tehran — at a shallow depth of six miles (10 km).

"shallow earthquakes tend to cause more surface damage, and even a magnitude 5 tremor can lead to significant destruction, especially in densely populated or poorly constructed areas. no confirmed reports of injuries or damage yet.

GRA: A very tempermental area of terra firma, noted for massive quakes--even absent incoming missiles. More things to worry about for tehran's racetrack employees, ahead of saturday's rescheduled racing.

The Twelfth Imam is fidgeting impatiently backstage, Jimmy Swaggart has been parked by the exit doors all week, King Charles is going to follow one of them, but which? And Pakistan nominated President Archduke Ferdonald John Kissinger for the Nobel Peace Prize.

First they came for the Saturday horses (now just stop with the Camilla jokes!)... The Clash and Rock the Casbah (1982)will get your race day engines started.

AFTERSHOCK DURING SEVENTH RACE,AT TEHRAN RACECOURSE AND CASINO,CAUSES WILD FINISH,DISQUALIFICATIONS

(Tehran Daily Camel)A large aftershock, from yesterday's 5.2 earthquake, made for an unexpected finish during the seventh race at Tehran's Racecourse,Saturday.

The 4.4 jolt, during the stretch run caused the three leading horses--"Infidel Bride","Mister Mohamm-Ed" and "Hillary's Server" to toss their respective jockeys into the air--and onto the other jockey's horses--who then crossed the finish line, something never seen before in horse racing hisssstory.

After an inquiry that lasted some 15 minutes, those winning horses were placed last for "illegal jockey transfer,"moving the fourth place horse,"No Internet"(14-1)into the winner's circle(what's left of it).

Completing the trifatwa :"Radioactive Raja"(10-1) and "There's a Hole in that Mountain"(8-1).

The exakbar paid $125.00 and the trifatwa returned $1,111.11.
