President Trump threatens more strikes "if iran does not seek peace"
"(zh) President Trump addressed the nation at 2200 ET and said that with 'massive precision strikes,' iran's nuclear facilities have 'been completely and totally obliterated' in a 'spectacular military success.
"he warned iran ('the bully of the middle east') that if they do not come to peace then there are many other targets:
"'there will be either peace; or tragedy for iran worse than the likes of which we have seen over the last eight days.
"'if peace does not come quickly,' we will go after the rest of the nation with 'speed and skill.'"

(1:47am)IRAN FIRES MISSILES AT ISRAEL--CASUALTIES AND DAMAGE TO APARTMENT BUILDINGS
(ap)Israeli first responders say several residential buildings were damaged in an Iranian missile barrage launched after the U.S. strikes.
Moti Nissan, a paramedic with Magen David Adom, described a “large-scale scene of destruction,” with several two-story buildings “severely damaged.” He did not provide a location.
Israeli has sought to conceal the precise location of missile impacts to avoid giving targeting information to the Iranians.
Iranian missiles wound 16 in Israel as new Israeli strikes on Iran are reported
The Magen David Adom rescue service says one of those wounded was a 30-year-old man in moderate condition and the other 10 were lightly wounded.
Shortly after the Iranian missile barrage, Israel announced its warplanes were conducting strikes on “military targets” in western Iran, without immediately elaborating.

The photo here shows some shabby buildings still standing and some Middle East people walking around... oh, wait, that's the charming scenery in Marseille, France. Maybe some of the graffiti is a Monet original.
MEDIA ATTEMPTS TO PSYCHOANALYZE IRAN IN ORDER TO FORETELL THE FUTURE
GRA:In scanning the tv nutworks and their "reporting," along with perusing various on-line media musings,I've come to the conclusion that people in the news(noise)industry aren't satisfied with "just" reporting the facts anymore. They want to be in that nebulous profession of tarot card reader, crystal ball interpreter and football game prognosticator.
Last night,on abc noise,I saw one "expert"--who acted as though he had inside info--that he KNEW what the Ayatollah and Iranian pols were thinking.
"They want to keep their positions--the regime intact," he stated without a doubt. Then he took that factless statement further,by throwing in some amateur psychoanalysis
"Iran will not fight back, will not go after our military bases,in order to prevent a regime change,"which seemed to sate the anchor(David Muir's understudy,Whit Johnson).
Other opinions included the definition of the word,"war"--based on political party. Is what President Trump initiated yesterday "war"? President Trump says,"no,not against Iran, just their nuclear program."
Tim Kaine asked,"Does Iran think it's war? Would we think it's war if Iran bombed a U.S. nuclear facility?"
Of course party line will dictate which definition you attach yourself to on tv.
It's war all right--an opening salvo--one that P.T. hopes is one and done, but it is war. The media looks at the bombings as a way to turn voters against Trump.
As Margaret Brennan suggested,"We are slowly moving to more and more war in Iran. When do we decide 'enough is enough'?"
A General Frank McKenzie, attempted to disperse Madame Brennan's predictions on "Face (the Commie)Nation" this morning, based on U.S. intelligence:
"The Ayatollah is still alive,I'm sure he's having a difficult time having decisions carried out...as many of his senior personnel are dead."
"I'm sure." More supposition from someone sent to go on CBS to calm everyone down.
"There are fears,"said Brennan, which is a favorite word of msm seers--FEAR. Fear of drones attacking military bases across the ocean, fear of drones in the U.S.,fear of Iran setting mines in the Strait of Hormuz. None of it is news. If they want to editorialize or prognosticate, put a show together called,"CBS Opinions" and let them have at it.
But as news breaks, try sticking with what facts you know, instead of inciting fear with half assed assumptions, predictions and unverifiable scenarios.

"NOTHING BURGER?" U.S. BOMBS,THREAT OF IRAN CLOSING THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ IS A BIG YAWN SO FAR AS FINANCIAL FUTURES OPEN
(GRA)For years we heard that if the United States bombed Iran's nuclear facilities,Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz,in retaliation, which would send oil prices up to over $150 a barrel.
It's been about 15 minutes and so far financial markets are not panicking about any of it. S&P futures down 25 points, oil is up about $1.50 West Texas Intermediate at $76.50 a barrel and bitcoin--down $4,000 in the afternoon, has cut it's losses by $3,000,back above $100,000.
What happened? Nothing? So far--yes.
