“Newsom's emergency restraining order denied by court late tonight, but hearing on thursday will decide if national guard will stay after that”

“11 p.m. (Breitbart) a federal judge denied democrat california gov. Gavin Newsom’s request to quash President Donald Trump’s deployment of california’s national guard troops to riot zones in los angeles.

“judge Charles Breyer, who was appointed by former President Bill Clinton, denied Newsom’s emergency request for a temporary restraining order regarding Trump deploying 4,000 national guardsmen to los angeles.

“Breyer also 'granted' the Trump administration’s request for additional time to 'file a response brief,' and gave them a deadline of wednesday morning.

“plaintiffs Gavin Newsom and the state of california filed an ex parte motion for a temporary restraining order at 11:00 A.M. on june 10, 2025,' Breyer said in his filing. 'defendants Donald Trump, Pete Hegseth, and the department of defense requested '24 hours from the time that plaintiffs files [sic] their motion for temporary restraining order to file a response brief.

“Breyer added that 'plaintiffs may file a response to that opposition by' thursday morning.

“'the court will hold a hearing on plaintiffs’ motion in open court at 1:30 p.m. on thursday, june 12, 2025,' Breyer continued.”

GRA: So, no instant injunction, while waiting for the actual hearing.

LIFE'S A BEACH(BOY)AND THEN YOU DIE;BRIAN WILSON CATCHES A WAVE TO HIS NEXT GIG AT AGE 82

(People)Brian Wilson, the pop music genius and singer who co-founded the Beach Boys, has died. He was 82.

The musician's family announced his death on Wednesday, June 11 in an Instagram post featuring a recent photo of the star smiling on a bench.

"We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved father Brian Wilson has passed away," the statement read. "We are at a loss for words right now. Please respect our privacy at this time as our family is grieving. We realize that we are sharing our grief with the world. Love & Mercy."

Described by PEOPLE in 1975 as the "formative genius of the group," Wilson served as the rock band's songwriter and co-lead vocalist and also played bass guitar and keyboard alongside brothers, Dennis and Carl Wilson, cousin Mike Love and friend Al Jardine, who all were part of the original lineup.

At age 19, Wilson — along with his brothers, Love and Jardine — formed the Beach Boys, which was initially known as the Pendletones, and co-wrote the group's first song, "Surfin'." By 1962, they released their first studio album, Surfin' Safari. And with the success of their sophomore effort, Surfin' U.S.A., and two subsequent albums also released in 1963, they helped cultivate — and became synonymous with — the "California sound."

A few years later, Wilson helped the group expand beyond that surf and beach culture with more mature music, culminating in 1966's Pet Sounds, 1967's scrapped effort, Smile, and the single "Good Vibrations." The first is what eventually cemented Wilson and the Beach Boys' place in rock 'n' roll history, with the album going on to become one of the most influential of all time.

GRA:I wasn't a big Beach Boys fan,but their music was pleasant enough. "In My Room" was gorgeous.

MORE RIOTS COMING--ESPECIALLY ON PRESIDENT TRUMP'S BIRTHDAY;ABBOTT CALLS OUT TEXAS NATIONAL GUARD IN ADVANCE OF PLANNED WEDNESDAY RIOTS IN SAN ANTONIO

(ZH)Setting himself in stark contrast to California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has ordered a contingent of National Guard soldiers to San Antonio ahead of protests against the apprehensions of illegal aliens planned for Wednesday night and Saturday.

"Peaceful protests are part of the fabric of our nation, but Texas will not tolerate the lawlessness we have seen in Los Angeles," Abbott's press secretary said in a Tuesday night statement. "Anyone engaging in acts of violence or damaging property will be swiftly held accountable to the full extent of the law."

News of the deployment of National Guard soldiers comes after lawless conduct by demonstrators in Austin on Monday night. Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) officers aided local police in managing a response that kept the theft and destruction to a minimum. "During Monday evening's response, DPS personnel deployed tear gas and pepper ball projectiles to ensure officer safety and maintain order," said DPS in a statement. Five arrests were made, with charges including felony criminal mischief and resisting arrest. Here's video of the tear-gas deployment:

The Wednesday protest at City Hall in San Antonio promises to be just a warm-up for Saturday, when leftists are planning "No Kings Day Nationwide Day of Defiance" protests in cities all across the country -- coinciding with a military parade in Washington to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the US Army (which also happens to be Trump's 79th birthday). Saturday's uprising is receiving organizational backing -- or, at the very least, logistical support -- from a web of nearly 200 groups, including a wide range of NGOs.

GRA:Which spicano is going to volunteer to be the mex version of george floyd--to get this disorder really rolling? That's what all the anarchists(dems, msm etc)are waiting for.

Pedro Sanchez...do your duty and get yourself killed.

Rewrite of Brian Wilson's "Wouldn't It Be Nice"?
by GRA

Wouldn't it be nice,
If politicians,
Didn't screw things up,
And go so wrong.

And wouldn't it be nice if blacks and mex invaders,
Went back to where they belong.
It would make our country so much better,
Send them all a deporta-a-a-tion letter.

Wouldn't it be nice?

CLINTON JUDGE RULES TRUMP HAS NO AUTHORITY OVER CALIFORNIA NATIONAL GUARD

(ZH)"(There's a)difference between a constitutional government and King George," said judge Charles Breyer,Thursday night. "It’s not that a leader can simply say something and then it becomes it. It’s a question of is a leader, a president or the governor, following the law as set forth in both the Constitution and statutes."

"That’s what a president, a governor or any leader must act under. Otherwise, they become something other than a constitutional officer."

Breyer also agreed with Newsom's legal argument that Trump's deployment was legally defective.

That said, as Politico's Kyle Cheney points out, Breyer gave the Trump admin until Noon Friday, which "should be enough time for Trump to seek emergency appeal at the 9th Circuit and perhaps Supreme Court."

FRIDAY:APPEALS COURT RESTORES TRUMP CONTROL OF NATIONAL GUARD "UNTIL TUESDAY HEARING".

(ZH)
Update: just hours after Clinton-appointed activist Judge Charles Breyer ordered Trump to relinquish control of California’s National Guard troops to Gov. Gavin Newsom, who sued to block Trump’s deployment earlier this week, a federal appeals court preserved President Donald Trump’s ability to deploy the National Guard to Los Angeles, blocking for at least a few days a judge’s order that found the call-up illegal and unconstitutional.

A three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals blocked Judge Breyer’s order just hours after he issued it, amid an urgent push from the Trump administration to vindicate Trump’s power as commander in chief.

The three-judge panel included Trump appointees Mark Bennett and Eric Miller, as well as Biden appointee Jennifer Sung. They set a Tuesday hearing on the matter, ensuring Trump’s deployment will remain in place at least into next week.

GRA:Ping and pong.
