More bad news about Quincy Jones--I guess we'll have to dig him up, and kill him all over again!

When Quincy Jones passed away, I posted a comment about how, when the ny post ran an article (seemingly) celebrating the Billboard top ten hits being all black for the first time ever (late 90s?), he was quoted as saying, "It's about time."

And this from someone with an education in traditional music, who was quite capable of composing in a White man's idiom (which he must have resented).

This was around the same time rap was being shoved down everyone's throat, while rock and everything else was being eased out of the picture, ensuring that a whole generation grew up hearing little else. Of course, it was deliberate-I wish I had saved an article from Variety that showed sales of rap around that time were lower than easy listening music! And I remember also that mtv was forced to play it in regular rotation-their viewers didn't want it!

I don't believe rap is even remotely popular these days. It's only "big" because, the same people who said Kumalot Harris was popular, push the lies that everyone's into rap.

The networks push the black crappola, which includes rap, lousy black movies and tv shows, which we are told "are hits."

More lies.

Quincy Jones was as racist as they come, yet had the gall to call Elvis Presley a racist. He also called the Beatles the "worst musicians in the world", which was absurd because nobody thinks of them as virtuoso instrumentalists, they were primarily songwriters. A lot of professional instrumentalists, studio musicians, look down on rock stars because they aren't always virtuoso musicians, but writing music that a mass audience will pay money for and listen to requires rare talent and is an extraordinarily difficult thing to do. Usually, prolific songwriters spend their time creating music, not refining their technical expertise on an instrument. Jones wrote music himself but primarily was a producer who dressed up music of superior songwriters like Michael Jackson, who by the way, didn't even play an instruments but Jones didn't call him the "worst musician in the world". He only criticized White artists because he was a racist.

Despite hating White people, he lusted after White women, a common psychosis among negroes. Married 3 White women including actress Peggy LIpton of Mod Squad fame. Tupac Shakur at one time was dating his daughter and Tupac criticized Jones for only dating White women, which caused a public feud between them.

As for calling Elvis racist, here is his quote on that in an interview:

“I was writing for [orchestra leader] Tommy Dorsey, oh God, back then in the ’50s. And Elvis came in, and Tommy said, ‘I don’t want to play with him.’ He was a racist mother — I’m going to shut up now,” Jones told The Hollywood Reporter. “But every time I saw Elvis, he was being coached by [“Don’t Be Cruel” songwriter] Otis Blackwell, telling him how to sing.”

Ok, Elvis is a racist because Tommy Dorsey said he was. Jones didn't have any actual evidence Elvis was racist, he's just going on somebody else's say so. Isn't that hearsay? Then he has to put Elvis down by pointing out that a black songwriter was "telling him how to sing". Singers get coached by songwriters or producers all the time, it doesn't mean anything negative about their talents, people work together in the studio to put music together that is going to be marketable and successful, for Jones to think that Elvis working with a songwriter was somehow a negative critique just shows his own racist mind frame.

He also cites supposed racism he had faced through his career. :

How many times have we heard that crap before from negroes? As far as I'm concerned Jones was just another bitter, angry negro who came up to Whites with his own racist baggage then played the victim when he got a negative reaction.

The part about digging him up and re-killing him is N.S. talking, not me! Please leave him where he is!

I was going to post the IRONSIDE theme, which I liked well enough to audio-tape from the TV as a youngster, but all I could find on Youtube were later versions, where, surprise, QJ "blacked" it up and made it more ghetto-urban, as opposed to the first-season straightforward dramatic theme!

Dear GRA, Long before the current era, I had my doubts about the record charts, which were faddish and payola-driven (Do you believe that atrocities like DISCO DUCK or MY DINGALING were number one songs?), and the Nielsen ratings, which oversampled elderly people living in shacks in rural swampland- till they went overboard for the urban-youth demographic, which was equally bad. I recently mentioned the idiotic DAKTARI series being a hit, and it occurred to me this was the same time STAR TREK was struggling to stay on the air, with supposedly-poor ratings! The top-rated shows were almost always junk- LUCY, ANDY, GOMER, BONANZA, etc.- and so were most of the hit songs!

I don't even SEE Nielsen ratings published anymore, like they used to be 30 years ago. They're unimportant. The point of tv is not networks wanting to know what people like viewing these days,it's forcing woke,pro-blackie garbage into White homes,24 hours a day.
