Worked for wells fargo a few years ago before the covid "pandemic."

Was late arriving at the airport here in dallas for a flight to phoenix for training with wells.

So, missed my scheduled flight but booked on the next one out west.

Got to phoenix late, so missed the group shuttle.

Hailed a cab.

somali taxi driver.

In phoenix.

How do I know so?

I asked him.

But not after shooting the s--t for awhile about phoenix, as we rode to the hotel Palomar in town.

I know he was from africa, thanks to his accented English.

Once he told me that he was from somalia I replied like a parochial ignoramus from the Midwest:

"Oh, really?," I said.

"Like from the horn of africa," I added.

"Yes," he replied.

"How did you know?"

He was surprised that I knew where somalia was located.

I should know, as I am a geography buff.

I know where all the world's sh--holes are located.

They're clustered in the countries of the tropics and sub-tropics.

Must be too much melanin or something in the skin of the natives.
