"three men were fatally shot and six others injured [sic] early sunday in the parking lot of a bar in Macon, according to the Bibb county sheriff's office.

"a local anti-violence organization" in Macon/Bibb? Ha! That's a good one! Wonder if the Bibb County had a do-over would they still vote to merge with the city?
The place might have Mid-Town in its name but it's not near downtown, where this wouldn't have been as shocking. It's a few miles out amid some decent (i.e., non-struggling) malls and subdivisions.
