I find it strange that a bomb that destructive was saved for such a place. Dem or GOP perp here? This is dem's m.o. but Republicans aren't for clinics like this in the least(if they do abortions too.) Coin flip

Not The Bee has a story including links to the (alleged) manifesto. They say: The suspect is a "pro-mortalist," or follower of "Efilism," which believes sentient life is a curse that needs to be destroyed. In simpler terms, he is an atheist who mocks God and wants to wage war on pro-lifers.

(ny post)A 25-year-old self-described “pro-mortalist” has been identified as the attacker who detonated a car bomb outside a fertility clinic in Palm Springs Saturday — killing himself and injuring four other people, according to sources.
25-year-old Guy Edward Bartkus has been identified as the Palm Springs IVF clinic bomber.
Guy Edward Bartkus, of Twentynine Palms, is believed to have detonated an explosive device in his car outside the American Reproductive Centers, which performs IVF treatments, egg collections and other procedures, law enforcement sources told The Post.
Bartkus allegedly described his fanatical pro-death beliefs in written and recorded manifestos as being against bringing people into the world without their consent to spare them from future suffering, KCAL news reported.

On Saturday, FBI agents swarmed his home and evacuated the neighborhood, declaring it a “blast zone” over concerns that he could have left explosives behind, ABC7 said.

This incident also helps us solve a 65-year-old TV mystery, namely, why didn't WIlbur and Carol Post have any children? Recall their frequent getaways to Palm Springs. The director mysteriously cut away from scenes where Mister Ed was about to counsel Wilbur about "that other" problem, aborting a fertile subplot just before it became viable.
