Subject: Another Fiery Tesla Crash
From Today's San Francisco Chronicle
Alijah Arenas, son of former Warriors star, in a coma after Cybertruck crash
The 18-year-old USC commit, driving a Tesla Cybertruck, collided with a fire hydrant and tree, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
("Collided with?" How fast were the fire hydrant and tree moving? )
In this case, hitting a hydrant and making it spray out water is not a bad thing. From the current media accounts, his injuries seem to have been caused by trauma rather than smoke inhalation or burns.
The latest news is that he has awakened from his coma.
A high school senior who seems to be following in the footsteps of his father, basketball star Gilbert Arenas, Alijah "commits" (i.e., intends) to play college basketball at the University of Southern California; he has already turned down offers from the Universities of Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky, and Louisville, according to Wikipedia.
One can see from this list which universities have sports as their #1 priority, not academics. Young Mr. Arenas is a hired gladiator.

The fire hydrant and tree were moved to another block to avoid future collisions.
