Just had 7 cop cars fly by with sirens and flashers--at 50 mph. I'll check out the local news tomorrow morning. That usually means at least one murder,not far from my house

Here's the reason,a car chase in downtown Grand Rapids,about 2 miles away. The entire platoon of police came in to get the blackies(outstanding warrants on one of the perps).
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were arrested following an early Sunday morning police chase that started after one person was hit in Grand Rapids.
Around 12:25 a.m., a vehicle hit a pedestrian near Michigan Street NW and Monroe Avenue NW, which led to a police chase, the Grand Rapids Police Department said. It’s unclear where the police chase ended.
Two people were arrested, GRPD said. One of them had an outstanding warrant.
Officers haven’t been able to find the pedestrian who was hit. It’s unclear if they were hurt.

(KFOX21 news)One person was killed and more than a dozen wounded when gunfire erupted at a family party in Houston early Sunday, authorities said.
Assistant Police Chief Patricia Cantu said multiple people were detained for questioning and that it was unclear whether the person who began the shooting at around 12:50 a.m. Sunday was among those being interviewed. She said the incident began as a family barbecue.
Witnesses(all mex),described chaos right from the start. One uninvited person was told to leave and started shooting.
GRA: Funny,in "Wedding Crashers",I don't remember Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson shooting up the parties they were told to leave from.
