This is one of those cases where the facts aren't available for the public to decide the who,what and why of the initial charges or the decision to dismiss them.
The "law" doesn't appear to be a major factor in much of this,but politics apparently abounds.

Trump wants to quit building nuclear weapons? Cut the military budget in half? Sound more like Trump's typical no filter shooting from the hip commenting than anything that could realistically happen. Trump should be the left's wet dream President with his anti war comments but guarantee they will find a way to spin it and make him sound like a bad guy.

Except,the left are now the war mongrels,Jerry. They are not anti-war anymore. They want to cut the world population down 50% in any way possible--and White population by 90%.

Exactly right about that GRA, I was listening to NPR recently and they were talking about Trump wanting to end the Ukraine/Russia war. Instead of praising his desire to stop the war, they snidely said that any peace deal brokered by Trump would probably include the Ukraine sacrificing territory and other concessions that would lead to loss of national sovereign rights and how the West shouldn't give into a dictator like Putin blah blah
They employed the same arguments the conservatives back in the day did who defended our support of S. Vietnam.
However, I don't think the left wants 90% of White people gone, they want 100% of us gone.
