On Sunday Night, TCM shows PT-109 (1963) with Cliff Robertson at 10:30 p.m. ET.
It was made by Warner Brothers with a TV director and actors. Ty Hardin and Robert Culp played JFK's friends, Lenny Thom and Barney Ross.

I don't get TCM,but I try to avoid biographical films anyways. I just saw "Man in the Moon" for the first time a couple months ago. Not that great. It had talented stars, but something was missing--maybe an interesting person( public persona Andy Kauffman was interesting, off camera Andy was not).
Similar, that a Don Rickles biopic would be lousy, unless it revealed info we didn't know. A Johnny Carson biography? Probably better, since he was a split personality type of guy. I prefer to LEARN something new about the subject that's interesting. If not,you might as well make a movie about a hockey puck
