A few years ago I watched "Biden" give a brief press conference on the "lawn" of the white house.
It took place on a dreary, bleary february day in D.C.
Which means the weather was probably in the 20s and very damp (Why do you think D.C. is called "the swamp"? Because around the national mall are (now buried) canals that were used to drain the area generations ago).
[fake] president "Biden" was wearing a business suit, and behind him, at a distance of perhaps 50 to 75 yards, were staffers and gofers wearing goose down parkas!

D.C.'s damp, cold winters cut like a knife.

Biden appeared to be in brightness, almost as if there were klieg lights shining on him.

They were immersed in the perpetual gray of a D.C. winter.
