two blacks charged in kansas city chiefs parade mass shooting; the new york post continues its war on the English language

By N.S.

"two juveniles slapped with charges in kansas city chiefs parade shooting: officials

"the person, who is a juvenile, was set free on thursday after investigators determined they [sic] weren't [sic] involved [sic] in the bloodshed that erupted at the end of the nfl [sic] team’s victory celebration..."

I just posted the following comment. We'll have to see how long it remains up.

"two juveniles slapped with charges in kansas city chiefs parade shooting: officials

Correction: the person, who is a juvenile, was set free on thursday after investigators determined that he had not committed any of the bloodshed at the end of the team’s victory celebration...

The post's operatives and editors obviously hate journalism (i.e., their readers). They deliberately confuse and confound readers on the simplest matters, e.g., whether they are talking about a single person or a group (not to be confused with a gang, another word they have clearly banned). Note, too, that over the years they have piled up violations of good English (e.g., "involved in," instead of committed). I'd specify more, but the ai Gauleiter would block this entire comment.

Something I could not write: Many of the post's violations of usage are due to its editors' submission to newsroom feminazis, who have long insisted that the singular and the plural be mixed up.

One of the suspected terrorists who is believed to have shot 23 spectators, killing one, at the kansas city chiefs super bowl celebration, whose faces new york post owner Lachlan Murdoch and editor Keith Poole refuse to publish, out of deference to their three black readers

"slapped with charges".

Sounds like a spanking or what a woman would do to a man who made an indecent remark.

"Fresh"(slap)
A minor triviance--"slapped."

And that's all I read so far.
