"verbally harassed"? That means the fans criticized them, but since the chronicle operative, Grant Marek, who wrote up this "thing" is a fellow traitor, he turned it into "harassment."

Note, too, that Marek's "thing" is so poorly written that you don't know what happened in the game. He was much more concerned about exactly describing the cal (Berkeley) players' pr stunt.
