The cops at the church shooting press conference were all easily 50 lbs above perceived overweight levels you'd expect to see.

ONE DEAD,NINE OR TEN STRUCK BY BULLETS AT K.C.VICTORY PARADE.

(kmbc)Kansas City police say shots were fired west of Union Station, and "several people" were struck.

At least two armed people have been detained.

ABC News is reporting that there is one dead and nine injured in the shooting. Five were serious injuries and three are in critical condition.

KMBC's Matt Flener reports that five people are being brought to Truman Medical Center.

He reports that three ambulances were seen going into the Children's Mercy Hospital's emergency room.

GRA:Anyone who goes to one of these things is rolling the dice.

I imagine serving a warrant in a place such as Wash DC or Dee-troit one of the most dangerous jobs in the world.

_You can't arrest and prosecute your way out high crime rates. It's the essence of insanity to keep enforcing the same old laws over and over again (that we stopped enforcing), and expect to get different results from what we're getting now_ —Washington DC District Attorney Brian Schwalb.
