By N.S.

"inside the Trump plot to turn his jan. 6 trial into a 'maga freak show'"

"the ex-president [sic] and his lawyers have outlandish plans for his election subversion trial — and it’s too much even for some former Trump attorneys."

New series:"Extended Family" with Jon Cryer of "Two and a Half Men" fame--review.

GRA:When I heard Jon Cryer was coming back with a new nbc sitcom,I was mildly interested. On the surface,it appeared to be similar to his previously mentioned comedy with Charlie Sheen,i.e.Cryer's character receives divorce papers from the wife and as in the former show,we are supposed to see how he handles post divorce life again(here, without Sheen). But at least in "Two and a Half Men",the wife wound up with hilarious,White actor,Ryan Stiles, but on "Extended Family"--as is the new law in tvland--we find the ex has joined the "coal burner club",shacking up with a bald headed, not funny negro(Donald Faison).I'll never watch this show again.

Cryer is Alan Harper on amphetamines on "Extended Family(Fambilee)",obviously trying to take a horrible show on his shoulders and failing. He's fast--too fast for anyone but Robin Williams and extremely irritating. The (ex)wife is dull and the black boyfriend is as lifeless and calm as swamp water, which, theoretically was supposed to bring out the comedy in this disaster.Cryer rambles, the negro looks at him,Cryer pouts, the negro looks at him,Cryer does a monolog and the negro barely blinks an eye.In real life,Cryer would have been shot dead after yelling at the blackie.

The execs at nbc who okayed the show's production should be fired immediately.

Rolling Stone writes in the same style as the National Enquirer did years ago, when I read an occasional copy at my aunt's house.Which means, not many facts,a lot of padding on the theme and a general nothingness to it.It's like eating cotton candy for dinner.
