Hey,say you idiots who are running things,
Make a few calls and when you hear some rings,

And the war stopped,
But the U.S.A.,
Didn't have a whole lot to say.
And when I looked around at the end of it all,
I had to tell the story some way.

So I got me a pen and paper,
And I wrote up this small, little song.
I'm sending it off to Washington D.C.
