I doubt the EU will be swayed by any vote. It's not clear what kind of legal standing such a vote would have.

It's not about illegal immigrants. It's about asylum seekers. All a migrant has to do is say the magic word "asylum" and they are not and cannot be treated as illegal.

The EU has a policy of distributing them to EU countries. Generally Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic refused to join this plan. So the EU sues them. Hungary ignores these court decisions against it.

But Poland is also by far the biggest recipient of EU aid. It is a 2nd world country with a huge agricultural sector. Its infrastructure generally does not meet first world and EU standards. So the EU pumps money into Poland.

The Poles should not be hypocrites. If they do not want to accept migrants and cannot get the EU to change course on migrants then they ought to stop accepting so much EU aid. Or leave the EU entirely, which would be better.

Poland knew the EU had rules and common policies when they joined.

At least Poland still has their own currency. They use the zloty, not the euro.

So then what the EU is doing is racist extortion--not permitting a country under its veil to determine its own demographics under constant threat of financial separation. Basically, you pretend "that you have a country" in exchange for EU aid--but you don't--because the EU tells you how to run yourself into the ground demographically,the way Chicago,Baltimore,Southern Texas,Arizona,San Francisco,New Orleans has in this country and London or Paris has done in Europe.
